Colo. Springs Parked Car Double Shooting: 1 In Custody
Police announced they have one person in custody in a double shooting that killed a man and woman found in a car in Colorado Springs.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- One person was arrested in connection with a double-shooting that killed a man and a woman found dead in a parked car in Colorado Springs, police said.
Police said they were investigating a call around 12:39 p.m. on Pacer Lane, when witnesses told them a shooting had taken place on the west side of Colorado Springs, but didn't specify where.
"With little specificity about the location and/or details, Gold Hill officers started searching a large area in the foothills of Colorado Springs," police said in a statement.

At 9:20 p.m., police investigated a suspicious vehicle on Lower Gold Camp Road parked near the Bear Creek Dog Park. Two people were found dead inside the car. Both appeared to have been shot.
Police did not identify either victim, but KKTV said a caller had identified the woman as missing Parker nursing student Serena Garcia, 21.
