Colorado Springs City Council Encouraging More Residents To Apply For The District 6 Council Seat
The City Council is encouraging more residents within District 6 to apply prior to the deadline.

Current City Council District 6 City Councilmember Andres Pico ran for and was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives at the November 3, 2020 general coordinated election. He will vacate the office of City Councilmember prior to taking the Oath of Office on January 13, 2021 for the House of Representative Seat.

The City Council is seeking to fill the remainder of the term that expires April 20, 2021. Interested applicants must be twenty five (25) years of age or older on the date of appointment, a resident of Colorado Springs for one year immediately preceding appointment, a citizen of the United States, and maintain a residence within Colorado Springs District 6.
The City Council is encouraging more residents within District 6 to apply prior to the deadline.

The application can be found at www.coloradosprings.gov/city-council. Applications will be accepted through Monday, November 30th at 12 p.m.
