Colorado Springs Manitou Incline Closed Sunday For Pikes Peak Marathon

The Manitou Incline will be closed on Sunday, Aug. 23 for the Pikes Peak Marathon.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Manitou Incline will be closed on Sunday, Aug. 23 for the Pikes Peak Marathon. Hikers will not be able to make an online reservation that day.

The Incline is a popular hiking trail located in Manitou Springs. It is co-owned by the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs Utilities and the USDA Forest Service. Colorado Springs is the sole entity responsible for operations and maintenance of the Incline. As part of a memorandum of agreement between the cities of Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, as of Aug. 6, a free online reservation is required to hike the Incline due to COVID-19.
