Colorado Toddler's Death Investigated As Drowning
Missing toddler Nain Dominguez was found in Fountain Creek by family members 14 hours after he vanished in Stratmoor Hill Trailhead Park.

EL PASO COUNTY, CO -- The El Paso Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of toddler Nain Dominguez, 2, as an accidental drowning, officials said.
Nain was playing with his siblings near the Stratmoor Hill Trailhead Park around 5 p.m. Saturday, when an older sibling noticed he had gone missing. The El Paso Sheriff's office issued an Amber Alert Saturday night around 9 p.m. after it was thought a white panel van with no windows might have been involved in the disappearance. That alert was later cancelled.
Sources told KKTV that Nain's own parents found the child in Fountain Creek around 7 a.m. Sunday morning non-responsive.

A GoFundMe page set up for the family to pay funeral expenses said:
Nain Dominguez was only 2 years old when God called him home on March 18, 2018 early morning. This was an unfortunate and very devastating accident for little Nain’s entire family. Everyone who knew Nain knew he was a very happy boy who loved to dance and would always have a bright smile on his face, Nain had a smile and personality that would put the saddest person in a great mood. Nain filled his family with joy and knowing he wouldn’t be returning home with his family is the worst feeling in the world.
