Facilities
Dear guests and program participants,Over the last few weeks, information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has raised concerns, and we want you to know we are committed to minimizing risk within all City-owned facilities.
The City of Colorado Springs has been working closely with El Paso County Public Health to monitor the progression of the COVID-19 virus in our community as well as in other cities. We are working hand-in-hand with County government and El Paso County Health, which is the lead agency on this topic.

As the lead agency, El Paso County Health is working with the state (CDPHE) and the CDC in obtaining the most accurate and up-to-date information, and we are following their guidance.
At this time, all City facilities remain open and regular programming will continue as scheduled. Should there be any change, we will update all parties involved.
To help stop the spread of disease, we are placing sanitation stations at public city facilities and sharing El Paso County Public Health’s recommendations and communication about proper hygiene and preventing the spread of illnesses, including COVID-19.
As with other respiratory viruses, good respiratory etiquette, handwashing hygiene and staying home while sick remain our best defense.
- Clean hands frequently with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing.
- Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms.
- Stay home if you are sick.
- Get an annual flu vaccine if you have not had one, to provide protection against the flu.
- Create a personal preparedness plan (www.ready.gov/pandemic (link is external))
We are committed to sharing updated, reliable information. For additional information on the City’s response, as well as links to other agencies, visit www.coloradosprings.gov/covid19.
Thank you for your continued patronage of our facilities.
