Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs:
- The Colorado Springs Fire Department is hosting a series of Living with Wildfire Town Halls across the city through the Spring and Summer. The meetings are meant to educate residents on the treat that the area faces. The series will begin in the southwestern portion of the city and gradually spread. Get the details about the series and when the meetings will occur on KOAA. (KOAA News 5)
- The Colorado Springs Police Department is currently investigating a deadly Friday crash. The incident occurred in the Austin Bluffs Parkway area between a motorcycle and a truck. The department reports that one person was killed during the crash but has not released the individual's identity to the public. (KKTV)
- The Colorado Springs community is being invited to attend a Fair Housing Rights learning session on Apr. 19 at the Southeast YMCA at 6:00 p.m. The event is being hosted by the city's Community Development Division. The session will focus on housing discrimination laws. (Press Release Desk)
