Falcon Grass Fire Leads To Evacuations: Colorado Springs FD
About 100 residences east of Highway 24 near Falcon have been evacuated due to a fast-moving grass fire.

FALCON, CO -- A fast-moving grass fire southeast of Falcon has led to evacuations of more than 200 homes homes west of Highway 24 between Garrett Road to the North and East Blaney Road to the South. (See map below).
The El Paso County Sheriff reported that Highway 24 is closed.
The Red Cross has established an evacuation center at Patriot Learning Center, 11990 Swingline Road, the El Paso sheriff's office said.
