- A known felon has been apprehended after he ran from police and tried to hide from officers. According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, Homeless Outreach Team Officers were addressing camping violations in Dorchester Park when they found two people with active warrants. One suspect, identified as a felony parole violator, began walking away, police ordered him to stop but he refused. A short time later, he was found hiding behind a residence near the Springs Rescue Mission and was transported to CJC on his felony warrant.(FOX21News.com)
- This week, Epiphany in Downtown Colorado Springs opened its doors. The new restaurant calls itself a community gathering space, bringing people, ideas, and experiences together. The owners say they're excited to bring the new concept to downtown. They are also focused on featuring artists from Colorado Springs, they have two concerts this weekend on Friday and Saturday.
