Garden Of The Gods Among Top-10 Trip Searches On Travel Site

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs' historic geological formation, is a sought-after destination online for travelers looking for all-inclusive tours, an online search survey found. As a way of predicting what the tourism market will look like nationwide in the next year, TripAdvisor announced the top ten searches for "bookable tours" in the U.S.

An $88 jeep tour of the Garden of the Gods ranked the eighth-most popular search in the online travel site's yearly "Seasonal Attractions Trend Index," TripAdvisor announced in a statement. The study calculated the year-over-year increase in searches from 2016 to pick the top destinations that interest travelers. The site did not specify that more people purchased the tours, only that they searched for them.

The Garden of the Gods Park is a 1,300 acre park which includes 15 miles of paved, wheelchair-accessible trails for biking and hiking. The park was designated a national Natural Landmark in 1971.
