- Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services have announced the opening of the temporary entrance to the Garden of the Gods Park at Gateway Road. The temporary entrance allows Garden of the Gods Park visitors to continue to access the park while the new entry roundabout is built. The temporary entrance is part of the first phase of construction on the 30th Street Corridor Project. (Press Release Desk)
- Pikes Peak United Way's Emerging Leaders Council will be delivering presents to Stratmoor Hills Elementary School students on Dec. 14. Over 400 presents will be delivered to the students at the school, who will get two gifts each- one want and one need. ELC members and volunteers wrapped the presents last week as part of the annual Wrap Party in preparation for the big day. (FOX21News.com)
