- Google Fiber is discussing a contract with Colorado Springs Utilities. The contract would allow the internet provider to lease new fiber network infrastructure. Colorado Springs Utilities is building a new infrastructure to improve the internet for Colorado Springs residents with "gig-speed." (Colorado Springs Business Journal)
- A group of Colorado Springs med students is collecting supplies to support Ukraine during the unprovoked Russian invasion. The drive is being coordinated by Bre Stafford out of her northeast Colorado Springs home. A nonprofit called Nova Ukraine is helping Stafford with the drive including possibly providing a cargo plane to deliver the supplies. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
- A hit-and-run destroyed a Colorado Springs restaurant. Taste of Brasil was ruined by a car on Monday morning. The restaurant is known for authentic Brazilian cuisine but now has a giant hole in the front of the business. The restaurant has announced that it will be closed until further notice.
