'Hazardous' Materials In Vehicle Found Near Air Force Academy
The US Air Force Academy they investigated a vehicle that may contain 'hazardous material.'

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- The Air Force Academy in Colorado springs was on alert for a "security incident" Wednesday morning after a vehicle was found nearby that may have contained "hazardous material."
The Peterson AFB bomb squad unit was investigating a "vehicle in which hazardous materials were detected," according to KKTV. The south gate of the campus was closed until further notice, the school tweeted.
As of 11:35 a.m., the Air Force Academy announced the south gate was operating normally.

Due to a security incident, the Academy's S. Gate is currently closed. Passenger vehicles should use the north gate for entry and exit. Oversized vehicles should still proceed to the S. Gate as normal, but should expect delays. We will provide updates as they become available.
