Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs:

1. The state has rested its case in the current trial against a suspected illicit massage parlor owner. Colorado Springs spa owner Xinan Xia is no longer facing two charges of keeping a place of prostitution. Xia is, however, still facing a felony pimping charge, a charge of pandering for prostitution, and a single charge of keeping a place of prostitution. This morning, the defense will continue to make its case to the jury with additional witnesses. (KRDO)
2. The Colorado Police Department arrested Gabriel Rojas, 42, on robbery and car theft charges. According to police, Rojas went on a robbery spree that involved three different convenience stores across Colorado Springs. An officer arrested Rojas after pulling him over in a stolen vehicle. (KKTV)
3. Colorado Springs Utilities discussed lowering rates during a Wednesday board meeting. Customers experienced two rate increases last year but a new proposal would lower monthly bills by about $15. The Colorado Springs City Council would now need to approve the rate decrease during a meeting on Apr. 26. (KKTV)
