First, today's weather:

Cooler; breezy in the morning. High: 52 Low: 29.

Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs:

  1. Colorado Springs travelers should expect delays on Interstate 25 while the Colorado Department of Transportation works on roads between South Academy and Santa Fe Avenue. Barriers will be built up, the substructure of bridges will be constructed, and lanes will be widened during the construction this week. It is important to limit distractions and drive the speed limit to ensure safety during the construction period. (FOX21News.com)
  2. Colorado Springs' Back East Bar and Grill hosted a St. Baldrick's fundraiser on Sunday afternoon. Dozens of people shaved their heads for the cause and a silent auction's proceeds went towards the fundraiser. A group of bagpipers performed Irish songs while children got their faces painted at the event. (KRDO)
  3. March Oyster Month at Jax Fish House and Oyster Bar will be supporting First Descents Colorado. Ten cents from every Emersum oyster will go towards funding outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by serious health conditions such as cancer. Colorado Springs Gazette has more details on events happening throughout the rest of the month that will be supporting the cause. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
