Man Found Shot Dead In Car Outside Colorado Springs Hospital

Springs police said they found the unidentified man in a vehicle parked at the entrance to UC Memorial Health Central.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- Colorado Springs are investigating a homicide that appears to have occurred near the UC Memorial Central hospital's public entrance early Monday morning. Around 12:33 a.m., police arrived on the scene and discovered "a deceased adult male with an apparent gunshot wound inside a vehicle," near the entrance at 1400 E. Boulder St. according to a press release. The identity of the man has not been released by the El Paso Co. Coroner. The investigation is being considered a homicide, police said.
