Man Found Shot Dead In Storage Locker: Colo Springs Police

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- Police, acting on information from witnesses, found a man dead inside a storage locker Sunday at a public storage facility in southeast Colorado Springs.

Around 8:42 p.m., Springs police were called to a bar in the 2100 block of East Platte Avenue, police said. Officers were then directed to a storage facility about five miles away in the 3400 block of Astrozon Court. They found a dead male who "had suffered apparent trauma," police said. They did not identify the man.

CSPD said the violent crimes unit is investigating the incident, but no arrests were made.

"At this time, all individuals involved in the incident are accounted for and there is no continuing danger to the community," CSPD said in a statement.
