- A knife-wielding suspect was arrested after threatening multiple people and forcing her way into two homes in a Colorado Springs neighborhood. Police were called to the separate incidents in rapid succession on Saturday afternoon, starting with a reported burglary at a home in the 2400 block of East Monument Street and then, a block away on Willamette Street, someone called 911 to report a woman menacing people with a knife. She was located in her home and taken into custody. (KKTV 11 News)
- Early on Sunday morning, a bar fight spilled out into the parking lot of a Colorado Springs nightclub and only ended after shots were fired. Police responded to the El Huracan Night Club at 1:30 a.m., by which time the fight had moved to the parking lot. Someone began firing off a gun during the fight, but no one was shot. (KKTV 11 News)
- La Burla Bee, a new cabaret-style restaurant and bar, was set to open on Friday, but damage from Wednesday's windstorm has caused a delay. The opening is not expected to be put off for more than a couple of weeks, though. To find La Burla Bee when it officially opens, open a red door next to Oscars Oyster Bar and head down a level.
