From the City of Colorado Springs: May 2019, the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Special Victim’s Section/Crimes Against Children Unit began an investigation into a report of an unlawful sexual contact involving a Mitchell High School teacher and a student under the age of 18. The investigation led to the arrest of the teacher, Armando Grez, age 27, for the felony crime of Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust.
