Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs:
- Colorado Springs' Wine Festival returns for its 30th year. The festival has not been held since 2019 in consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic. Proceeds from the festival go towards The Colorado Springs Conservatory's efforts in supporting local arts. The festival's last day is Mar. 5, 2022. (FOX21News.com)
- A Colorado Springs motorcyclist has been pronounced dead following a crash. The incident occurred in the 2700 block of Austin Bluffs Parkway on Friday. According to the department's report, the crash was likely caused by excessive speed. The name of the man has not been released at the time of the report. (KRDO)
- A southern Colorado Springs home was struck by gunfire on Thursday. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Mt. Werner Circle. Thankfully nobody was injured during the shooting and the Colorado Springs Police Department reports that they will be performing a full investigation into the incident. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
