🌱 Motorized Boat Ban Reversed + New Acting Superintendent

Here are the top three stories in Colorado Springs today:

  1. Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services announced that motorized boating will now be allowed on Prospect Lake this summer. The lake at Memorial Park originally banned motorized boats in February due to the installation of an aeration system meant to increase water turnover. However, the installation has been delayed.   2. Dr. Nicholas Gledich has been named by the Colorado Springs District 11 School board as its new acting superintendent. Dr. Gledich retired from the position in 2018 but resumes his post after Dr. Michael Thomas parted ways with the district on Mar. 2. The school board has started a search for a permanent superintendent. (KOAA News 5)
  3. The Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a rollover crash on Interstate 25. The incident occurred Wednesday morning in the southbound lanes near Exit 153. The crash caused the right lane of the interstate to be closed. (KRDO)
