In-N-Out Burger Coming To Colorado

The California based popular fast-food chain purchased 22.4 acres in Colorado Springs for a headquarters and will open a first store nearby.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- After much anticipation, the popular California hamburger chain In-N-Out Burgers is staking a claim on the state of Colorado with the purchase of 22.4 acres for a distribution center and headquarters in Colorado Springs. The company will also open a first branch of the chain at the Victory Ridge mixed-use development near I-25, at the intersection of Interquest and Voyager Pkwys.

"We cannot be more excited to welcome [In-N-Out] to our project," said Andrew Klein of Westside Investment Partners, Inc., the project's developer.

The distribution center can support up to 50 stand-alone restaurants within 350 miles, according to the company.

"Colorado Springs is an ideal community for us to locate facilities to serve surrounding markets with fresh ingredients, including meat patties produced locally," a statement from the chain said. The company acknowledged that Colorado had been clamoring for the cult burger chain.

"At In-N-Out, we have always been thoughtful about expansion into new markets because it is very important that we are able to maintain the high quality and service standards established by our founders almost 70 years ago. We are extremely fortunate to have a number of loyal customers in Colorado and they have been encouraging us to open locations there for some time,” the statement said.
