New Charcuterie Concept Graze Craze Opens First Colorado Location

Graze Craze®, a booming new concept in charcuterie boards and boxes for healthy lunches, office catering and special events, opened its first Colorado storefront at 6942 N. Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs’ Woodmen Plaza. Graze Craze is the newest food franchise to join the community of award-winning brands affiliated with United Franchise Group™ (UFG).

Husband-wife team, Brad and Sandra Akers, are proud franchise owners of the new North Colorado Springs Graze Craze location. Brad Akers is a longtime business owner who is also currently serving as an active member of the US Air Force with plans to retire next year. With Brad Akers’ military chapter coming to a close, the couple sought out business ventures that they could embark upon together. Inspired by Graze Craze’s unique offerings and unlimited potential for growth, the Akers were thrilled at the possibility of opening the concept’s first franchise location in Colorado.

“We wanted to find something that we could do together, something we were both passionate about,” said Sandra Akers. “Once we discovered Graze Craze, we fell in love with the concept’s beautiful charcuterie offerings and immediately knew it would be a great fit for our family and the North Colorado community.”

Graze Craze specializes in artfully designed, hand-crafted charcuterie boards and boxes featuring customizable food displays that are perfect for grazing — including fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese, gourmet sweets and more. The unique menu features several grazing options fit for any occasion and lifestyle. Whether it’s a formal affair for veggie lovers or a casual get-together complete with meat and cheese for a low-carb crew, Graze Craze has something to offer for everyone. Each charcuterie board is beautifully curated by a Grazologist™ — your very own charcuterie concierge — with several different size options from single boxes for the lone grazer, to grazing boards with enough fresh food to feed a party of ten or more.

The North Colorado Springs Graze Craze is open for pick-ups Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday, with the option for free local delivery any day of the week.
