Pastor Alleged Sex Assault: El Paso Co. Sheriff Seeks Victims

Youth Minister Romello Leach, 22, admitted he fathered the baby of a girl, 14, who participated in Satellite Hotel church services.

COLORADO SPRINGS -- A youth pastor who was charged with sexual assault of a child after admitting that he had sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl, who delivered a baby, may have been in contact with other young people, the El Paso Co. Sheriff's office said. Sheriff's deputies arrested Leach Nov. 22 and booked him into the Criminal Justice Center Jail for several felony counts for Sexual Assault on a Child, with a pattern of abuse, according to a press release.

The girl identified Leach as the man who got her pregnant and was the father of her baby. A pregnancy center tipped the Sheriff's office in May after the girl and her mother came for help, according to the Associated Press. Leach's arrest affidavit said he admitted on a recorded phone call that he "admitted his actions were wrong but said that he was 'full of lust' at the time," the AP reported.

Several churches who regularly meet at the Satellite Hotel, at 411 Lakewood Circle in Colorado Springs, are associated with Leach, the sheriff's office said. The statement said investigators believe there may be other victims.
