Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs:

  1. Colorado Attorney General is seeking a court order to stop the owner of a Colorado Springs-based company from practicing law without a license. The court order was sparked by an investigation carried out by the Consumer Fraud Unit of the Colorado Department of Law revealing evidence that Maleni Munguia and her company, One Connection LLC, have misrepresented undocumented and foreign-speaking individuals. Only individuals who are licensed are allowed to perform services for consumers under the Colorado Consumer Protection Act. (FOX21News.com)
  2. A truck has reportedly hit a fire hydrant near a southeast Colorado Springs intersection. According to authorities, the collision has caused a water main to break which has prompted a road closure of Jet Wing Drive in both directions. Colorado Springs Utilities workers are still attempting to fix the water main. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
  3. The City of Colorado Springs has invited the public to comment on Phase 15-D. The phase is part of the updated ADA Title II Transition Plan filed with the City of Colorado Springs that includes area parks.
