- The Pikes Peak Little Free Pantry is asking for the public's help in filling its mini pantries. The organization provides 24-7 access to free food, toiletries, and personal items. The stocked provisions have been declining due to the recent increase in living expenses and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. (FOX21News.com)
- The Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services Department is hosting a Motorless Morning at the Garden of the Gods Park on Apr. 30. The event is between 5:00 a.m. and noon. No cars or motorized vehicles will gain access to the park during the event. The department hosts this event twice per year since its formation in 2018. (KRDO)
- A Colorado Springs man has been arrested on charges from two 30-year-old cold cases in Arizona. Thomas Davis Cox, 58, is being held on a $1 million cash bond. He is facing 16 different charges that include suspicion of first-degree murder, burglary, and kidnapping. (9News.com KUSA)
