The new building will be the most sustainable high-altitude structure in the country, if not the world. In addition to the breathtaking views – made even more dramatic by a new elevated pathway and overlook designed to help protect the summit’s fragile tundra – guests will be able to enjoy fresh menu options and digitally interactive displays that bring the history, significance, and geology of the mountain to life.
In preparation of the grand opening, here are 14 storylines about the new building, located on the most accessible 14’er in America. The date of the grand opening will be announced later this month.
