Pine Creek HS Student Arrested For Sex Misconduct In Co. Springs
Colorado Springs police took a student into custody for alleged sex misconduct against other male and female students at Pine Creek High.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- Colorado Springs police arrested an 18-year-old student at Pine Creek High School Tuesday on charges that he had inappropriate physical contact with other juvenile students, male and female, at the school.
The unnamed student, who's being charged as a juvenile, was charged with sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact and harassment. He was under the age of 18 when the alleged crimes occurred, police said in a statement.
The CSPD Crimes Against Children Unit initially came to the school to investigate a tip that a female teacher was having an inappropriate relationship with a male student. Detectives determined the contact between the student and the teacher did not rise to the level of a criminal violation and closed the investigation as "unfounded," a police statement said. Police did not specify whether the student arrested was the student in the first investigation.

The investigation into the alleged sex misconduct by the student was a separate investigation, police said.
