Portion Of Gold Camp Road Closed Friday In Colorado Springs To Finalize Gate Installation
A portion of Gold Camp Road – from pull-off No. 5 to Captain Jacks parking lot – will be closed on Friday, Aug. 7.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A portion of Gold Camp Road – from pull-off No. 5 to Captain Jacks parking lot – will be closed on Friday, Aug. 7, from approximately 6 a.m.-2 p.m. It’s anticipated that this will be the final closure for this project. Crews expect to finish installation of a new gate at the northern boundary of North Cheyenne Cañon Park, a recommendation of the park’s master planA plan for the development of a portion of the city that contains proposed land uses, a generalized transportation system, and the relationship of the area included in the plan to surrounding property.. Signage will be posted in the area. North Cheyenne Cañon Park will remain open during this time.
