Shelter In Place: Shots Fired At Springs Ranch Complex
Residents of the Village are being asked to shelter in place because of police activity. There are few details right now.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Colorado Springs police are asking residents in the area of the Villages at the Springs Ranch complex to shelter in place because of police activity in the area.
A Twitter user identifying herself as Ellie Mulder said police responded around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. When the cops arrive, more shots were fired, she said. There are no injuries but there is an ongoing stand off.

Police tweeted at 1:38 p.m. Tuesday that the activity was in the 4300 block of Golden Glow.

Minutes earlier, police tweeted that one of their lieutenants was responding to the 4300 block of nearby Centreville Drive "for a tactical situation," noting shots have been fired.
