Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs:

  1. The El Paso County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of a shooting near Patty Jewett Golf Course as 24-year-old Tryvone Brooks. The Colorado Springs Police Department responded to the 1400 block of East Columbia Street to reports of a shooting where they found a man dead. The incident occurred this past Tuesday, Mar. 22.   2. The first spring CityServe Day needs 1,000 more volunteers to accomplish a massive citywide volunteer effort.   3. The Colorado Springs Fire Department has extinguished a fire behind Rocky Top Resources that injured one person. The fire was sparked at a homeless camp on Thursday morning. The fire spread to some grass due to the dry and windy conditions that the area has been experiencing lately. (KKTV)
