After 15 weeks of comprehensive training, The Colorado Springs Fire Department is welcoming 16 new firefighters to their ranks. They start their new assignments right away.
They have successfully undergone the strenuous instruction it takes to tackle the unique demands of firefighting in our city. During their time at the academy, these recruits developed their proficiency in:

- Building construction and Fire code education
