St. Patrick's Day 5k Run To Cause Downtown Road Closures Saturday Morning, Weather Pending In Colorado Springs

The race is hosted by the Colorado Springs Saint Patrick's Day Parade Committee and The Grand Prix of Running.

On Saturday, March 13, from 9 a.m.-noon, there will be several road closures in place during the St. Patrick’s Day 5k run in downtown Colorado Springs, weather pending. The race is hosted by the Colorado Springs Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee and The Grand Prix of Running. The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Leprechaun Fun Run will not take place this year due to COVID-19.

The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic during the race:

  • Sierra Madre Street, from Costilla Street to Kiowa Street
  • Vermijo Street, from Sierra Madre Street to Sahwatch Street
  • Cucharras Street, from Sierra Madre Street to the alleyway
  • Antler’s Place, from Sierra Madre Street to Colorado Avenue
  • Glen Avenue, from Uintah Street to Mesa Road
