Storage Locker Body: 41-Year-Old Co. Springs Homicide Victim IDed
The El Paso County Coroner identified the man whose body was found in a Colorado Springs storage company locker Sunday.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- The man whose body was found in a Colorado Springs storage unit was identified Thursday by the El Paso Coroner’s Office.
Richard Paul Martinez, 40, a resident of Colorado Springs was found shot Sunday in a storage locker in the 3400 block of Astrozon Court.
Around 8:42 p.m., Springs police were called to a bar in the 2100 block of East Platte Avenue, police said. Officers were then directed to a storage facility about five miles away in the 3400 block of Astrozon Court. They found a dead male who "had suffered apparent trauma," police said.

CSPD said the violent crimes unit is investigating the incident, but no arrests were made.
"At this time, all individuals involved in the incident are accounted for and there is no continuing danger to the community," CSPD said in a statement.
