🌱 Vehicle Crashes Into Dispensary + Language Volunteers Needed

Here are the top three stories in Colorado Springs today:

  1. A vehicle suddenly crashed into the Native Roots Marijuana Dispensary on Austin Bluff Parkway Thursday morning. The vehicle smashed into the front doors at the dispensary and was removed from the scene shortly after. There is currently no additional information on how the incident occurred or why. (KRDO)
  2. El Paso County Sheriff's Office is searching for bilingual or multilingual volunteers to help deputies assist non-English speaking citizens. The volunteers will help ensure safe interactions between the community and the Sheriff's Office. Applicants are being asked to fill out an application here. (KRDO)
  3. A Colorado Springs author has published a new hiking book that showcases Colorado's hidden gems. Stewart Green seeks to show appreciation for 40 hiking locations that are often overlooked. He calls the locations "Underdog landscapes". His book is titled "Hiking Colorado's Hidden Gems." (Colorado Springs Gazette)
