🌱 Water Main Break Shuts Down Colorado Springs Intersection

Here are the top 3 stories in Colorado Springs today:
- A water main break shut down a major Colorado Spring intersection on Sunday. At about 11 p.m. Saturday, a water break was reported at the intersection of Circle Drive and Galley Road. Nearby residents may experience water and pressure problems while crews are working on repairs. (Colorado Springs Gazette)
- Four Colorado Springs businesses were victims of burglaries and robbers in the span of 90 minutes. At about 10:45 p.m. Saturday, the crime spring started at smoke and hookah shop on the southwest side, then smash-and-grabs were reported at two Valero gas stations and a 7-Eleven. Police are investigating if the crimes are connected. (KKTV 11 News)
- A man was sentenced to 32 years in prison after taking a plea deal for the bus crash in Black Forest. Police say Daihauonzadre Brooks-Jones is responsible for a deadly bus crash after stealing a passenger bus in Aurora and then crashing it on Highway 83 in 2020. Two people were killed and multiple others were injured in the crash. (KKTV 11 News)

- A winter storm system is taking shape for mid-week, with widespread snowfall and much colder temperatures. Snow will likely begin Tuesday morning over the Mountains and spread east over the Plains Tuesday afternoon. (Facebook)
