Free Upcoming Events In Denver You Won't Want To Miss

DENVER, CO — There is still plenty of summer days left in Denver and many popular local events to put on your calendar. Having fun in Denver doesn't have to break the bank — some of the most exciting local events are free.

Besides plenty of farmers markets and free outdoor movies, Denver hosts some of the best summer festivals and events in the state.

Here are three of the biggest free Denver events that you won't want to miss:

Colorado Dragon Boat Festival- July 27 and July 28 at Sloan's Lake Park. The family-friendly festival celebrates Colorado's Asian Pacific American culture will feature cultural performances, shopping, dining and of course the popular dragon boat racing.

Denver International Festival - Aug. 3 at Civic Center Park. Traditional food, music and art from dozens of cultures around the world will be showcased at this free event.

A Taste of Colorado - Aug. 31 to Sept. 2 at Civic Center Park. More than 50 restaurants and 250 vendors will showcase some of the most delicious food and products in the state. The free event will include six stages of entertainment.
