African Penguins Get A New Home At Denver Zoo
Penguins at the Denver Zoo are getting a new habitat.

DENVER, CO โ A colony of 20 African penguins at the Denver Zoo is getting a newer, larger habitat. The zoo will begin to transform its Benson Predator Ridge exhibit into the penguins' new habitat this fall.
The new habitat, near the zoo's main entrance, will provide a home for the penguins that's three times larger than their current habitat in Bird World, the zoo said.
The exhibit will offer a number of features that will encourage the penguins to show their "natural charismatic behaviors," the zoo said.
