Airport Traffic Snarled By I-270 Semi-Truck Crash Outside Denver
Many people traveling toward Denver International Airport were delayed unexpectedly by an early morning crash involving 2 semis and 3 cars.

DENVER, CO -- Travel to Denver International Airport at one of the busiest days of the year was snarled up for four hours Wednesday by an early-morning multi-vehicle crash outside Denver. Denver Police said one person was injured in the crash involving two semi-trucks and several cars. The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. The accident closed both lanes of I-270 going eastbound (at Vasquez Blvd) and westbound (from the I-70 off ramp), the Colorado Dept. of Transportation said.
Both lanes re-opened Wednesday morning. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
