• Denver tenants unionize over safety, security concerns (kdvr.com) — Tenants at the Olin Hotel Apartments in Denver have unionized, demanding better security, reliable heat and water, and serious rodent control in their low-income senior housing. City agencies say the building is regularly inspected under Denver's housing standards and urge residents to report problems, but tenants insist unresolved issues are harming their health and safety.
   

• Historic Denver dance center temporarily closed due to fire (cbsnews.com) — A longtime Denver dance hub, the Turnverein Dance Center, is temporarily closed after a fire damaged the historic building, though no injuries were reported. All lessons and events are canceled for now while repairs and an investigation move forward, with updates promised via email and social media for dancers, teachers, and community groups.
