Crews are starting water line repairs on Monday, with work expected to last about a week while experts assess ongoing damage to the road and sidewalk.
3. Denver murder conviction reversed for incomplete self-defense instruction (gazette.com) — A state appeals court has thrown out a Denver murder conviction, ruling that a Denver judge failed to fully instruct jurors on the defendant's self-defense rights. The panel ordered a new trial in the 2021 Capitol Hill shooting, emphasizing that jurors should have considered whether the defendant responded to an alleged robbery or assault when he fired.

State and federal investigators say the multi-year interference damaged Berthoud Pass Watershed Ditch infrastructure, and the Colorado Attorney General has filed multiple felony counts tied to water system tampering and theft.
