Here's how much Denver water bills could rise in 2027 (denverite.com) β€” Denver households could see average monthly water bills rise about 5.7% in 2027, with typical city bills climbing from roughly $57 to just over $60 if proposed rate changes are approved. Denver Water is also weighing higher drought surcharges to fund projects like Gross Reservoir expansion and lead pipe removal, with a board vote expected in October and new rates starting January 1, 2027.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science volunteer discovered T. rex tracks in North Dakota (krdo.com) β€” Denver Museum of Nature and Science scientists have confirmed the first-known trackway made by an adult Tyrannosaurus rex, discovered by one of their volunteers in North Dakota's Hell Creek Formation. The 23-foot-long series of massive three-foot footprints is expected to arrive in Denver this fall, giving local visitors a rare chance to see these historic tracks up close.

Pueblo Memorial Airport offering new early-bird flight to Denver International Airport (krdo.com) β€” Travelers flying between Pueblo and Denver International Airport will soon have a more commuter-friendly schedule, including a new 6 a.m. "early-bird" departure aimed at making morning meetings and connections easier. A 9 p.m. return from Denver back to Pueblo is also being added, part of changes city officials say should make PUB a more practical jumping-off point to over 100 destinations via major airline partners.
