Steven Stamkos (Lighting), Jake Guentzel (Penguins) and Troy Terry (Ducks) also were among the "last men" selected to the showcase, which is scheduled for Feb. 5 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This year's event features a four-team mini-tournament between the four divisions.
Kadri now will represent the Central Division alongside Avalanche teammates Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar. It will be the first time that three Colorado players were selected to the NHL All-Star Game since 2018-19, when MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen were chosen.

A native of London, Ontario, Kadri leads the Avalanche and ranks fifth in the league in scoring with 49 points (14 goals, 35 assists) in 33 games. He ranks second in the NHL in assists and is fourth in points-per-game (1.48).
Kadri also is among the league leaders in multi-point games (tied for 2nd with 16), power-play points (tied for 9th with 16) and power-play assists (tied for 10th with 11).
It's been a year of milestones for Kadri, who scored his 200th NHL goal on Dec. 1 at Toronto and appeared in his 700th game on Jan. 15 at Arizona. He was named the NHL's Third Star for the month of November after leading the team with 21 points (including 17 assists) in 10 games.
The center became only the second player in Avalanche history to average over two points-per-game in a single month, joining Joe Sakic, who did it in March 2000.
In addition to playing in the All-Star game, Kadri will participate in the 2022 NHL All-Star Skills Competition on Feb. 4.
