Best Cities For An Affordable Wedding: Where Denver Ranks

DENVER, CO — Planning a wedding is a difficult task, and an even harder one amid the coronavirus outbreak. There's some good news for Denverites, however — the city is among the top ten in the U.S. for affordable weddings, according to a new report.

Out of the 95 cities considered in SmartAsset's fourth annual study, Denver was ranked No. 9.

The average cost of a wedding in the U.S. is $33,900; however there are some cities where you still can have the wedding of your dreams at a lower price tag, freeing up funds for other financial goals. Nashville took the top spot, with a price tag of $23,038, but other factors were also included in the assessment.
