Body Found On I-25 Is Homicide Victim: Sheriff
Douglas Co. Sheriff's Dept. said the body found on the shoulder of I-25 is being considered a homicide. Traffic is returning to normal.

LARKSPUR, CO -- UPDATE: The Douglas Co. Sheriff's office reported that the finding of a body on the expressway shoulder of I-25 is being investigated as a homicide. Traffic was in both directions was slowed for several hours after investigators closed off one southbound lane south of Castle Rock.
A call came into the Douglas Co. Sheriff's office around 10:15 alerting officers to the body. The sheriff's office did not identify if the person was male or female or give any further information.

According to Denver 7, Douglas Co. Sheriff Spokeswoman Lauren LeKander said a caller told 911 dispatchers the body had "apparent cuts to the hands and gunshot wounds."
