- State Capitol in Denver temporarily evacuated. Authorities evacuated the Capitol because of a bomb threat received on Wednesday afternoon. Colorado State Patrol searched the building using bomb sniffing dogs, and eventually determined that it was safe to allow people back into the building. (Out There)
- EPA says Colorado Air Quality regulators to blame. The U.S. Environmental Protection agency sides with whistleblowers over state regulators that failed to comply with requirements under the federal Clean Air Act. (Patch)

- Police Department defends officers in Sunday morning shooting. As bars let out early last Sunday morning, stray police bullets sprayed the crowd. Those that were nearby are still seeking answers as to why police opened fire in such a crowded outdoor space. (CPR)
