Here are the top stories in Denver today:

  1. MSU Denver reopens it's food pantry in a larger space. Metro State University is taking food insecurity seriously, and has increased the size of the space it uses for a student food pantry, in an effort to make sure that the school's students aren't going to class hungry. (9News)
  2. Thornton has the water it needs, but it's in the wrong place. With all the water it needs just a mere 70 miles away, Thornton continues try to figure out how to get its water from the Cache la Poudre river in western Larimer County, which has blocked access that would give Thornton the ability to build a pipeline to divert their water. (CO Sun)
  3. Deion Sanders is coming to CU, but is Boulder ready for Prime Time? Dion Sanders has been named the new head coach of the CU football program, and at his first team meeting yesterday, Sanders made it clear that the beleaguered team that went 1-11 in 2022, is going to experience a radical remake under his command. 4. Eldorado Canyon is named one of the most beautiful state parks in the U.S. State parks don't always get the same recognition as national parks, but like in the case of Eldorado Canyon, they are equally as beautiful. Travel Lens has curated its list of the most beautiful state parks in the country, and Eldorado Canyon comes in at number nine on their list. (KTCL)
