The artists will host a guided community conversation to discuss the connection between their work and invite guests to reflect on this idea. All are welcome.
“Conversations Between 2” is an art exhibition built on the concept of an exchange between two artists, Melody Epperson and Kelly Austin Rolo, in which they use their creative language to think, question, and share ideas. The artists share the same medium (wax) and a related visual aesthetic (abstraction), while asking distinct questions of it.
As members of NKollectiv, the pair will present their individual works together in the gallery at 3485 S. Broadway, from September 2–27, 2026. A concurrent group exhibition featuring assemblage work will be on view in the North Gallery. The public is invited to view the show during regular business hours and during the following free special events in conjunction with the Epperson/Rolo show:
