Here are the top stories today in Denver:
- Only 10 percent of car theft cases in Denver end up with a conviction. Nearly 21,000 cars have been stolen in Colorado since last January, prosecutors said that getting convictions isn't easy. (9News)
- The first marijuana delivery service in Denver goes belly up. Doobba, Denver's very first licensed cannabis delivery service, announced that it was closing up shop after only a year in business. (Westword)
- Advocates for DACA want immigration reform. Colorado immigration activists want leaders to come up with a permanent solution for undocumented people, and to provide additional support for childhood arrivals. (CO Newsline)
- Autistic man that was attacked on RTD bus talks about the assault. Though his identity hasn't been revealed, the victim told reporters that "he pulled out a big blade and started stabbing me. There was blood all over. That's pretty much what happened." Police are looking for the perpetrator and have released photos of the attacker to the public. (FOX31)
- With all the threats of violence, good people don't want to run for public office. There's an exodus happening across the U.S. of those who are in public office, amid threats of violence and bodily harm. Security for those that remain, and those that want to run for office, is the next challenge. (CPR)
