- Controversial decision that had written off Denver's urban waters as too polluted to save has been reversed. In a bold move, the Colorado Department of Health and Environment will now add water quality protections for the South Platte River and other regional waterways. (CO Sun)
- Metro Denver politicians flew to Houston to discover the secrets of its successful homeless program. Houston has generated national attention for its homeless plan, so metro Denver leaders headed south on a junket to witness first-hand the Texas city's approach. As it turns out, Houston mimicked Denver's Road Home plan. (Westword)
- Colorado's minimum wage going up to $13.65 in 2023. Slowly but surely, the state's minimum wage is going up. In 2023, it will increase $1.09 as part of the voter-approved mandate that requires the base-wage to be adjusted annually for inflation. (KRDO)
- Denver International Airport gets $500 million for baggage upgrades. City Council approved the project at DIA, even though they don't have the money part of it completely worked out yet. (Denverite)
- Colorado is one of the worst when it comes to road rage. A recent survey released by Forbes show that Colorado has one of the highest incidents of road rage in the U.S. The results may shock you. (Out There)
