  1. CSU announces sole finalist for leadership role. The Colorado State University Board of Governors has voted to confirm Amy Parsons as the sole finalist for president of CSU. Parsons' background includes serving 16 years at CSU as an executive vice-chancellor, deputy general counsel and vice president for university operations at CSU's Fort Collins campus. (CPR)
  2. RTD is taking a different approach to how it deals with the homeless. Instead of just shooing them off their property, RTD is helping those that are camping around RTD's sprawling transportation system, find solutions and directing them to support services. (Patch)
  3. The long hoped for development of the Rossonian in Five Points inches forward. Developers have submitted a plan that would include creating a Submit Plan for 88-room hotel in historic Five Points. The plan includes a restaurant, jazz club and boutique-style hotel. (Westword)
  4. Denver City Councilman Paul Kashmann seeks to provide boost neighborhood organizations. Program will support Registered Neighborhood Organizations (RNOs), which are a critical element in the bigger picture of the city of Denver. Kashamann recently implemented a Community Benefit Fund for RNOs in his southeast district, which provides grant money to the RNOs. (Denverite)
  5. Now you can visit Christmas Town right here in Denver. The Nightmare Before Christmas pop-up bar has opened in RiNO at Zeppelin Station. The setting at the bar is modeled after Christmastown, filled with bright colors and thousands of twinkling lights. (Newsbreak)
